Vote in the 2008 Election

We don’t know who’s going to win the election. But we have every reason to believe victory is based on votes. (Well. Almost every reason.)
Practice polling makes perfect, people.

Monday, October 6, is:
a) the last day to register to vote in Georgia.
b) the day before your Real Housewives of Atlanta viewing party.
c) all of the above.

The best way to get others in on the action is to:
a) bribe them. (Ooh, pretty!)
b) petition for an office Take Our People to Vote Day.
c) put out only for registered voters.

To reconcile a short attention span with genuine political interest:
a) vote based on looks, genitalia, and celebrity supporters.
b) vote for yourself and revel in the irony.
c) watch videos where candidates address specific issues at expertvoter.org.

To determine whose pockets are deepest, you should:
a) shove your hands down other people’s trousers.
b) go to opensecrets.org.
c) scream, “I do, bitches!”

To ensure every vote is counted:
a) volunteer to be a poll worker.
b) create a “Red or Blue?” e-vite for an election night party. Invite accordingly.
c) hide a camera in the Secretary of State’s office.

Remember: Decisions are made by the people who show up.
