Sadly, she’s a head above the rest. But that doesn’t mean you can’t try.

Start with a head chain from Gabriela Artigas. Designed to bring out the disco in you, the chains are ’70s flower child-meets-edgy mod chick.

If you ever made dandelion chains when you were a wee one (was that just us?), think of these as the big-girl version. Sterling chains are enhanced with tiny charms — vintage Chanel bows, semiprecious stones, copper wolves, lions, leaves — and then placed on your noggin. Each chain has a single accessory, so it’s enough to stand out yet still look simple and chic.

You’ll never guess how Artigas got her start. When she was little, she made headwear out of toilet paper. Eventually, she swapped that for sterling and voila!
