For Feet’s Sake

À Pied Shoe Boutique Opens

step it up!

Strolling down Roscoe Street, you’re feelin’ fine — and lookin’ snappy to boot.

Humming Marvin Gaye, you strut past Starbucks and shimmy by Victory’s Banner. Suddenly, all hell breaks loose. Or should we say all heel.

Though your shoe cannot be healed, your soul is another matter. Good thing you bit the dust right outside of À Pied, Roscoe Village’s first designer shoe boutique. Owner Trudy Robinson Foley comes from three generations of picky shoe shoppers. Her mission: to make one out of you.

The store sells exclusive lines like Taryn by Taryn Rose (with primo arch support and extra forefoot cushioning), Hispanitas (Spain), Modern Vintage (Montreal), and fish-skin kicks from All Black.

With every purchase throughout May, you’ll get a free bottle of foot massage lotion.

Now that’s what we call sexual heeling.

À Pied, 2037 West Roscoe Street, at Seeley Avenue (773-281-2210).
