Start with a piece from Double K, a collection of necklaces and earrings made from vintage chains and recycled brass pendants.

Designer Kelleigh Kincaid scours flea markets and eBay for charms, lockets, and semiprecious stones and casts her own brass pendants. Then she juxtaposes the sweet (gems) and the not-so (oxidized silver pieces), pulling everything together with chains from the ’70s and ’80s.

The dark, sexy baubles are meant to be layered, so don’t be afraid to throw both the Turning Leaf (vintage leaf charms, recycled brass pendant) and the Chandelier Affair (vintage chandelier crystal, aquamarine, quartz) around your neck.
