The boutique salon, which had a short stint in a downtown loft, officially unveils its new Uptown makeover this week. Owner Charlie Price and two other pros man the shop — a vintage pad decked out with mod furnishings (white baroque-style mirrors, black leather sofa), purple walls, and contemporary floral arrangements.

Although it’s modest, the salon does a full range of services: cuts, color, blowouts, and styling for big — or small — events. And they don’t skimp on perks (free beer and wine).

After all, it’s the little things that count.
