Get Wasted

“Trash: AnyColorYouLike” Art Project

pink trash!

One man’s $1,000,000 piece of modern art is another man’s garbage.

And vice versa.

So if you’re low on funds but consider yourself an abstract thinker, participate in Trash:AnyColorYouLike — Adrian Kondratowicz’s project making a statement on mass consumption.

An intervention of sorts, the idea is to beautify garbage by using vibrant colored bags, causing people to take notice of how much trash they produce.

Made of 100 percent biodegradable PVC and scented with peppermint bubble gum, the bags are hot pink with gold or white polka dots (and repel insects and vermin to boot). Purchase one for $10, fill it with air, display at home, and explain to confused peeps that it’s art. Or opt for a box of ten ($30) and use them for actual garbage bags as Kondratowicz intended.

Either way, people will start talking trash.
