Unmentionables Cards

Machiavelli said it best: Sometimes being a jerk is the only way to get by. (As in, shut down the JetBlue seatmate now or learn everything about naked mole rat mating habits.)

For those who can’t muster the nerve, Unmentionables cards are an elegant solution. Each is printed with a cute monster and pithy insult, and there’s one suited to just about any irritating situation — and the person creating it.

Crappy customer service reps will earn a “Thanks for being of no help whatsoever.” Close talkers will invite a “You’re in my personal space.” For disappointing bosses, there’s “Thanks for the raise. I’m going to treat myself to a pack of ramen.” And for full-on buttheads? “Please do not procreate.”

Sure, you may bruise a few egos.

But the ends justify the meanness.
