Garden of Eatin’

Homegrown Garden Services

Your search for happiness may have led you right into your own backyard. But unless dirt and dead plants make you smile, you never had luck finding it there.

Turn that frown upside down and let Homegrown take over. The garden company’s work has just started sprouting up around town.

Horticulturist and chef Marta Teegen conceptualized her business for people who don’t have a green thumb but want to experience the pleasures of homegrown food. She’ll design, install, and maintain a full organic garden, simply start a window box on the right foot, or whatever’s suitable in between.

Using hard-to-find varieties of vegetables, herbs, and tasty flowers from around the world, Teegen will plant exotics like Rubine red Brussels sprouts, watermelon radishes, and Shungiku chrysanthemums for you.

Before long, everything will be coming up roses.

Or, at the very least, rosemary.
