What
: Sweet 66-seater opens with seasonal modern American menu and homey, reclaimed wood vibe (the owner worked with Building on Bond folks for the aesthetic).
Why: Garlic shrimp and havarti grits, chimichurri roasted chicken, wild rice with cranberries, ceviche of the day.
When: Opens Sat. for brunch and dinner. Lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and family-friendly teatime starts Mon.

What:
A defunct med facility is turned into an artistic community with installations, salons, participatory projects, and parties.
Why: Home is where the art is.

What:
A display of superlative works from the hottest botanical artist of the 18th century.
Why: To illustrate your poinsettia.

Installation Five
What:
Forty artists-of-the-moment (Blek le Rat, Angela Boatwright, Tessar Lo) explore self-portraiture. Turntable Lab provides music.
