Inspired by an original silhouette belonging to Greta Garbo (who happens to be her husband’s great aunt), local designer Stasia Reisfield’s elegant new collection speaks to the desire for an understated carryall.

The classic bags are named after Garbo’s personal single-letter monogram and are handmade domestically from buttery soft Italian leather. (Take note that they all cost less than a grand.)

Subtle finishes and vintage-inspired hardware add a distinguishing touch — just check the matte gold wrist chain on the celery green suede stunner.
