Don’t Be So Wool-Headed
Mischa Lampert Hand-Spun Knits

You suspect the force field formed by your turtleneck, pullover, and parka makes you seem a little standoffish.
Seems bad circulation trends to isolationism.
Meet designer Mischa Lampert, a one-woman United Nations. Born in Holland, educated in Germany and England, she now creates rustic, organic knits in New York.
Amazingly, Lampert hand-spins the merino wool that goes into each of her scarves, hats, and bags (also all hand-knit). A Sailor Fur cap with a slightly conical shape appears elfin. Earflaps on the Nolita insulate you not only from the cold but from the world.
We especially love the Twist scarves, which circle your neck infinitely (okay, we tallied thrice).
Let’s not get too wrapped up.
